직장인이 이렇게 해외트레킹을 즐기기는 쉬운일이 아니다.

그러나 그 꿈을 펼치기 위해 노력하며 계획을 세우는 일은 본인이 할 일이다. 짬을 낼고 절약하여 즐기는 해외

등반은 철저한 계획없이는 실행하기 어려운 일이 아닐수 없다. 용기를 내어 도전하고성과를 내는 이는 모두가

철저한 준비 과정이 있다.

설명이 더 필요없는 학교.모든 분야에 걸쳐 세계적으로 이름난 학교이다.최고의 교수진을 가졌으나 1학년

학급 수를 봐서는 교수와 학생간의 교류는거의 불가능하다. 그렇지만 2학년부터는 나아진다고한다.
교수들도 학생들과 가까워지길 원하고 학생들 또한 대단한 열의로 교수들을 찾아다닌다.하루 평균 4~5시간을

공부하는 스탠퍼드의 학생들에게는 다른 명문 학교 학생들이 겪는 비슷한 문제점이 닥쳐온다.

공부할 시간을 빼면 다른 활동은 거의 할 시간이 없으며 데이트는 사실상 불가능한 곳이 스탠퍼드지만 이

곳에서는대신 여러가지 스포츠 활동이 이뤄진다. 1학년 대부부니 한가지 이상의 스포츠 클럽에 들 정도로

스탠퍼드의 스포츠활동은 활발하게 이뤄진다. 전체 유학생 수는 약 5%정도이고 연간 학비는 기숙사비를

포함해서 약32,500달러 정도다. 외국 유학생에게 장학금을 지급하며 한해 장학금을 받는 유학생은 180명

정도이다.

나도꼭 이 생이가기전 한번 도전 하고 싶다. 함께 산행했던 동료들이 먼길을 떠나 당찬 산행을 목숨걸고 사비 틀어 산행을 준비 했으니이제 원이 없겠다. 하기야 그런가 또 하나의 도전이 마감 되고또 하나의 도전을 생각 하는것은 인간의

본능이다.

나의 영원한형님도 몽블랑을 다녀온 사진을메모리에 담아 보내 주셨으니 나보다 함께공유 하자는 생각이다.

그래도 만문 다행 건강하게 모두 완등 하고 돌아 왔으니 축하 하고 싶다..
